Reiki has become part of my everyday practice and as such gives such profound and meaningful insights into life and purpose. I teach Reiki in the spirit of Mikao Usui, the Japanese founder. Reiki is a system of healing, meditation and introspection into becoming more happy and getting to know yourself. Through the energisation exercises, self-healing techniques, meditation practices, looking within mentally and emotionally you become more happy and calm.
I teach Reiki in the spirit of original Reiki that Mikao Usui taught with special reference to the practical techniques he taught for people to really get to know themselves in the energetic, emotional, mental and physical sense of self-understanding.
There are three levels of training:
Shoden Reiki I training is taught over 18 hours based on the physical and energetic nature of healing. You receive the Reiju blessing/energisation as well as learn the main energisation techniques. There are a number of hands-on healing techniques that you learn as well as the insights and teachings of Mikao Usui about the body’s natural healing system. The 5 Reiki Principles are taught alongside the introspection of our individual mental and emotional states that open us up to deeper peace and acceptance. The first Reiki mantra/symbol is taught in this level.
You need to complete a report on your own meditation/healing practice as well as produce 3 case studies for others. After this level of training you can practice Reiki on yourself and offer it to friends and family as a gift. The fee for Reiki I Training is £200.
Okuden Reiki II training is taught over 18 hours with more focus on the mental and emotional levels of healing. You receive the Reiju blessing/energisation as well as deeper energisation techniques. There are more hands-on healing techniques to help bring deeper awareness and resolution to mental and emotional issues. The next two mantras/symbols are taught in this level. You need to complete a report on your own meditation/healing practice as well as produce 3 case studies for others. After this level of training you can offer Reiki to other people and animals as paid service. The fee for Reiki II Training is £200.
Shinpiden Reiki III training is taught over 31 hours with a focus on deeper spiritual healing . You receive the Reiju blessing/energisation as well as deeper energisation techniques for your own practice. This level also shows you how to give Reiju blessing/energisation to others and to train them to become Reiki practitioners and trainers. You need to complete a report on your own meditation/healing practice as well as produce 4 case studies for others. You receive the fourth mantra/symbol and you are qualified to train others. The fee for Reiki III Training is £400.
The purpose and meaning of Reiki is in the depth and experience of peace and happiness; that your life is richer and more profound. Reiki is about healing oneself so that you can move forward and heal on many levels: personal, social, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual. It is also a healing practice for society, the world and nature. Reiki is a way. It is a practice and grows over the years. It helps us be more resilient and determined. It helps on all levels.
Know Thyself. This is the way of Reiki.
