Counselling for Young People (14+) is a rewarding process for finding deeper understanding and meaning in relationships and life purpose. In counselling young people appreciate the value of a healthy and professional human relationship to help them take greater ownership of their life decisions and responsibility in the world.
I offer short term processes for clients up to 6-8 weekly sessions. In that time clients can achieve a better understanding of their current situation and ways of working through them.
Clients can explore a wide range of issues in their counselling work such as:
- anxiety, fear and depression and better adaptation to life demands and goals
- relationships, boundaries, communication, assertiveness and consent
- the nature of the emotional systems and understanding emotions better
- self-harm and suicidality
- identity, gender, sexuality
- neurodiversity, ASD (Autism Spectrum), ADHD
- life goals, purpose, meaning
